Fire Safety Engineering in
High-Rise Buildings

IFE organizes a unique opportunity to share lessons learned in an interactive workshop.
Experience and know-how will be brought to you by renowned IFE members: H.G. Tay (IFE International President); Jose Torero (Edinburgh University) and Bill Stewart (Toronto Fire service) will work with you on practical issues.
We plan to have a hands-on approach, starting with the issue of which buildings are considered high-rise and why.
IFE promotes the knowledge of Fire Safety Engineering and the design of Fire Safety by competent engineers. The workshop is hosted by Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Institute of Engineering, in Groningen. We invite professionals from the Industry and the Fire Service, legislators and researchers to this workshop.
The programme will start at 10.00 hrs and will be closed around 13.00 hrs.
Registration is limited, and will be handled in order of entry.
